One World Group
We have been the One World Group since the early 1990's and exist primarily to raise funds for various organisations, especially one's with no or very small overheads and expenses. Our constitution dictates that 50% of what we raise goes to CAFOD, the other 50% going to causes suggested by members of the Parish. Over the years we have raised money for, Projects in Nepal, Tanzania, Kenya, Bosnia, and recently Ukraine. Also, organisations home and abroad such as Mary's Meals, Mercy Ships, Shelter Box and various Missions, locally, Julia's House, Lantern, Samaritans and Soul Food.

Our fund-raising events include auctions, coffee mornings, cake sales, seafront stalls, quizzes, Desert Island Discs, treasure hunts, race nights, bric-a-brac sales, BBQs, and cocktail parties

They are open to all, not just members of the Parish. We are happy also to be associated with Fair Trade, Food Banks, Live Simply and all other churches of Weymouth, of any denomination.
